Hi

I am totally new to this forum and to any forum.

My name is Jacek Limanowka and I am a Christian artist from Australia.

I would like to participate in discussions however I don't know how to do it yet.

I would like to learn about Christianity as I haven't read the whole Bible yet.

I am doing the book of Job at the moment.

I  hope somebody will contact me here and say hello.

Regards

Jacek

Hello Jacek ,

Welcome to Worthy.

The forum is a bit slow at the moment due to time zones, but I'm sure many others will welcome you.

Worthy is a great place to ask questions and learn.

Welcome to Worthy from a land currently covered with marshmallow looking snow!!

Job is a great book that certainly put's man's position to God in proper perspective, yet shows the great love that God has for His creation, man

Hello Jack!

How are the Koala Bears doing?  :biggrin2:  I remember when I was a little kid I wanted one so bad, lol.

The book of Job is one of my favorites.  Did you know it's the oldest book in the Bible?

Koalas are doing fine.

However we had fires here not so lonf ago.

I didn't know the book of Job was the oldest in the Bible.

I have the same complaints as Job and I would like to have a conversation with God

about my life as it doesn't treat me very well.I guess some people have it worse as we are not

starving and haven't got the war going on.

Very often I'm not happy with God for allowing things to happen and He is silent....

Welcome to Worthy Jacek! Hope you find Christ if you already don't know and find good fellowship here.

Reading the Bible is a great thing. The book of Job is very interesting indeed. What have you learned from it?

Once you make 5 posts you will have access to the rest of the site. What other hobbies do you have? What do you like to do for fun?

Welcome again!

God bless,

GE

Mmmm yes..But in the end God answers most of Job's questions by answering with questions of His own, and Job comes to realize what a mighty God we serve.

Welcome!

Sorry I gave away the ending, but it has been around for over 2000 years.  :cool2:

My all time favorite OT book, if I were to name one would be Nehemiah. It is an amazing lesson in how to pray, and God's faithfulness and love.

Jacek, welcome!

You said you are a Christian artist. Are you a born-again Christian?

Also, after you finish reading Job may I recommend that you read the Gospel of John?
