    • Russia and Ukraine - the start of a prophecy?

I think Russia and some muslims have common goal of proving Christians to be wrong. They might have disagreements in between but they act in their own ways to obstruct Christians.
    • Salvation is just by faith and not by works

As  always, you look at everything through the prizm of your cult, not through the eyes of ;genuine Christianity. The word "justified" as James uses it doesn't correspond to how Paul uses the word in a different context.   James is not talking about salvation.   Faith without corresponding action isn't faith; it's mental assent.   There are a lot of people who think they are Christians because they assent to the basic truths of the Christian faith, but that mental agreement doesn't produce salvation because if they had true faith, it would change how they lived.  Many people agree with the Bible, the Ten Commandments, the golden rule, etc.  But they continue living in sin.   James is saying that such pseudo-faith can't save anyone. James is not saying that we are not saved by faith alone.  James is saying that we are not saved by a false, empty mental assent that is often mistaken for actual "faith." Romans 4 makes it clear that Abraham was justified by faith alone 25 years before circumcision, and 430 years before the law was given.  His faith was credited to him as righteousness on the basis of faith alone and nothing else.   And Paul says that its the same with us.   There is no definition in the Bible that exists that separates good works from the works contained in the law.

What really bothers me is the new very frightening statue - nobody likes it, that they have placed in the center of Sofia in front of a three churches ansamble. The statue is looking very idolatry like and to me someone did it to represent spiritual blindness.  Its a beloved topic by our communists, blindness. Because we had a false communist prophet in the last century that prophesied differently from the Bible and this woman was literary blind. Thus the statue is of king that's army was blinded, and there are statues of the blinded soldiers too, it's horrible but it speaks of their false prophet who talked that Russia will rule in future.I personally cannot enter the church there anymore and it was my favourite. They placed the the statue two months ago.

The Bible never defines good works apart from the law.    Phil. 2:12 uses a Greek word for the phrase "work out"  that means, "to put on display, show forth.   Our works display salvation that we already have.     Paul is to work it out, not work for it.   To say, "here is a gift, you earned it"  is internally inconsistent.   Gifts are not earned.  Gifts are only given at the discretion of the giver.   Rewards are earned.

I'm sorry but you're simply contradicting scripture which tells us Faith without works is dead.  17Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.  20But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? 22You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected; 24You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. 26For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. James 2   The word of God.   By the way, you cannot be saved if you are not also justified.

Apart from works of the law Shiloh, not apart from good works.   When Paul speaks of works in this manner it is always works of the old convenant law. By not distinguishing between the two types of works you've entered into error in understanding Paul's words.    A gift can indeed be earned shiloh.   Have you never heard someone say   "Here's a gift, you've earned it."    ? I have. A gift is without compensation, meaning you don't pay for the gift.    That concept is a bit different than  what you're claiming.  I find your concept of "earning" much too broad and inclusive. But as far as scripture goes, we can't do anything to earn God's gift of salvation.   But we must do something with it or it just sits there and does nothing for us.   If you receive a gift, all wrapped up in pretty paper and a nice bow, and you just let it sit there and never do anything with it, is that gift of any use to you?   no. You must open it.   You must do something.      The problem with your concept of works is that it includes EVERYTHING we do.   Obviously we must do something to respond to God's gift so freely given if it is to be worth something to us.    We just respond.  Our response then would be a work according to you.  That is not the concept of works Paul is concerned with.     Paul was only concerned with believers being told they had to do the works of the law to be saved.  Paul said no.    But he said nothing there about good works, works of charity along with our faith, which James says we must have BOTH to be saved. Faith ALONE is NOT enough.   WORK OUT your own salvation with FEAR AND TREMBLING Shiloh. . . . .  Philippians 2:12
    • Why do white evangelicals support Trump?

If we stopped providing them with free SS benefits they didn't pay into and if we stopped handing them goodie bags full of benefits like free healthcare that American taxpayers can't get unless they work for it and if we stopped hiring them, they would self-deport.   They should not be rewarded for breaking our laws and coming here and taking jobs away from Americans, including immigrants who had the integrity to come here legally.   These leeches are a drain on our society and they produce nothing good. There was a time when you actually had to have a skill and an education to immigrate to the US.  We need to return to those principles. Immigrating to the US is a privilege,  not a right.

About the city of Sodom and Egypt, I understand it as the city of both some sin and also Egyptian devotion. For example here we have Egyptology on a high position, devotees to Bastet and so on, and spirituality that is not free of sin, on contrary people pride of it in a way, we have a famous discothèque called Sin City in the very town of Sofia, I'm not saying that necessarily this is the town but living here its clear to me what God meant with calling a town Sodom and Egypt.
