    • I have heard many things that were inspired by God spoken by human mouths that didn't get it exactly right.
    • Blessings Sailingsoul       Welcome to Worthy,,,,,,yes,it is Holy Spirit that will convict the hearts of men,you play a part in God drawing them unto Himself but not any part(more or less) than anyone else......the thing is that some do the planting, some do a little watering and others do a little more & a little more & so on......God uses each of us in a very special, personal & unique way, just be grateful to be a part of that and this opportunity now prompts you to learn & study more,,,,,,you said only what you were lead to say,,,,that is ALWAYS ENOUGH,never add or take away .....just be a willing vessel & Praise the Lord!!!           With love-in Christ,Kwik
    • Most of the founding fathers were freemason... outwardly, a Christian, yet they were luciferians ... the god of the freemasons is lucifer (satan).  What the cult is really good at is double-appearances... appearing to be Christian, while worshiping lucifer (satan).  All that being said... it was a much safer world back then, and Americans once had a lot more freedoms than we have today.
    • People can't claim a Covenant with God" unless God agrees to such a thing. We can't just claim to be participants in an older covenant without abiding to all it's precepts... can you show how the Government of the United States has indeed entered into such a covenant and upheld it's end of the agreement?
    • Patriot I don't think anybody said anything about relying on the words of men "over" the words of God. Do you believe the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation, or that they have ceased? It's one or the other.

      Psalm 40 (KJV)
40 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.
10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Hi, I'm back. I Read Ezra's answer to someone in the RCC. Ezra s right on point regarding baptism. This is going to be very interesting conversing with rccs on biblical topics. I left the RCC, was baptized in the Jordan River on my first 2011 trip to Israel after Mike died....and my dad says... Why? Once wasnt  good enough for ya? I laughed, dad, you could have lied about my infant baptism, i was to young and don't remember and being baptized as an adult is on outward sign to show others I'm a follower and believer in Christ. My dad's 86, in poor health and I've given him the gospel message many different ways and times, he's still lost but I still pray! He has until his last breathe to repent and trust Jesus, amen! I know heavy topic, no reply needed.😃
