Eph. 2: 8,9 says we are saved by grace through faith and not by works. Phil. 2:12 says that we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It does NOT say we are to work for our salvation. The Greek renders this as "out work" meaning that we are put our salvation on display for others to see.
James 2:14-16 isn't talking about salvation. He is not talking about how we are justified before God. He says that our works justify or affirm our confession of faith to others.
No, that is not the case at all. The problem is that when I respond to you, you take a snippet of what I say and then you spin it in a way that I did not intend and paint my response in a manner that gives you something to knock down. Yon can't respond to me honestly.
I have answered EVERY SINGLE "negative" you have tried to levy against Trump. I and others have pointed out where you are mistaken, and your response is to take our responses and either misquote us, or completely ignore our answers and try to deflect from your error by spinning our response in a dishonest manner.
No one has "stoned" over your lame accusations about Trump. I am simply pointed to the dishonesty with which you treat my and others' responses. So you needn't play the victim, little man.
i believe every one of them, and i also believe that this is true, too:
No one has ever seen God. The One and Only Son — the One who is at the Father's side -- He has revealed Him. (John 1:18)
and what Jesus Himself said is true as well:
It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’
Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me —
not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father. (John 6:45-46)
i don't believe that these two passages (nor others that express the same) are contrary to the dozens of things you could also quote. but this reveals a mystery: that no one has seen the face of God, but He spoke with Moses as 'face to face' -- and no one has seen God at any time, but Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and the 70 elders all saw Him on the mountain.
He is more than what has been revealed to any man.
And they overcame him by the word of their testimony, and the blood of the lamb.
There many people these days who claim to have good works and have change to a new better life, with a clean conscience, and most of them have faith in God , but they do not have the testimony of Jesus Christ, and the blood of the lamb.
