I do not have to say anything about you and the good words you have posted. But many things in the post are quite critical about others and without sound preparation, quick to speak about others like you know them very well when you have never spoken to them and have not gotten to know them in the way you should have to allow yourself to form a non prejudicial understanding about the people you have unfavorably comment about. To comment about the people someone should understand how the Holy Spirit works. It works in such away that Peter had to say be patient because "one day with the Lord is as if is one thousand years" this is not a true statement word for word but it gives a clear message as it happened in the old times of those who  prophesied of the things to come about the New Covenant and they long for them to happen in their time but they happened after hundred of years. For the Lord to relax them and deal with their anxiety and not to speak like that is going to happen in their generation, the Lord in the Old told them the infamous say "one day with the Lord is like one thousand years " and he did not tell them that so they can take it literally and begin to count the years and take it up with the Lord and His Word when the thousand years passed by. The Lord did not tell them that as start counting the days or years or something else and then bam bam it's going to happen. Because when it is happening and it is happening and it is very obvious that it is happening perhaps some cannot see it because what is  happening in not happening in their own way of understanding. The Spirit of the Lord is moving in many places and we are not able to see it. The Holy Spirit is not on holidays and neither is Jesus Christ. They are not in the Old to have a day off once a week. We are in the New Covenant and the Lord with his death on the Cross He has given us some rest as to occupied are selfs with the better things as to reaching out to others than counting the days of some event and counting the days and that's what they were doing to Peter and Paul and I guess to all of them because they wanted the Romans to be defeated and other things as wanted to rule!! Even though Jesus told them that you will rule with me as you make your way through out the nations to conquer the Nations to defeat their Gods in them and have Jesus Christ rained in their hearts and minds. To conquer the Spiritual powers who had bind the people, to loose them from their bonds to Idols by giving them Jesus Christ. To win the battle of Armageddon the battle against the spiritual power that was working in the people they met through out the Nations. We are never alone as the Holy Spirit is always at work and even before we speak drawing the people to Jesus Christ. Paul was about to leave Corinth and Jesus told him, do not leave because I have drawn people to me and are ready for the Gospel and I sent them to you and I will also sent you to where they are. Stay in this town. In the other town Jesus told him leave. Before Paul or anyone went there Jesus told Paul go to other cities, I have people waiting for you. Jesus was working ahead of the places Paul had to go and was drawing to him preparing the ground for Paul's message of the Gospel as it happened the samething with Peter and the family of the Roman Cornelius.

Reminders - Gossip             I was surprised to learn that the word gossip is not in the Scriptures. You’d think it would be, due to the damaging nature of its use. But there are phrases and words meaning ‘gossip’ such as backbiting, whispering, and slander. Scripture also says that those who do those things are called tale bearers, false witnesses, or busybodies. So, is gossip really all that bad? Well, it’s associated with the sins that those with a reprobate mind take part in. Sins such as sexual immorality, hatred, the desire to harm others, sowing strife, having pride, and hating God. Romans 1:28-31 So, why is gossip wrong and why do we need to be careful not to take part in it?             The heart of gossip comes from pride, which is the desire to elevate oneself above others. When we expose the weaknesses or faults of others, we are automatically and covertly announcing that we think we are better than them and would never do those things ourselves. People who point out the faults of others are blind to the fact that they have the same faults, albeit sometimes in a different form. Romans 2:1 For instance, those who would condemn a person for smoking because they are wasting money on something that causes harm to a temple of the Holy Spirit, think nothing of their own wastefulness and harm to the body by overeating. As equal members in the body of Christ, Philippians 2:2-5 tells us we are to “be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” When we have the proper perspective of ourselves and others, we won’t gossip. But when we think more highly of ourselves than we ought, Romans 12:3 we sow strife among the brethren and will soon be brought low. Proverbs tells us, “Only by pride comes contention,” and “…destruction,” Proverbs 13:10, 16:18 the end results of gossip.             Final Thoughts: We need to be careful that we don’t allow our prayer meetings to turn into gossip sessions. How often have we heard words like, “Dear Lord, we pray that Jane Doe will quit nipping so much of her elderberry wine which I smelled on her breath last week. InJesus’NameAmen.” If God puts her on your heart that way, pray in private for her and if needed, go talk to her in private according to the pattern shown us in Matthew 18. Another way we ‘spiritually gossip’ is to pass on information shared by those praying aloud at the meeting. Unless prayer requests are put out to the general public, keep the information gleaned between you, the requester, and God. Neither should we pass on hearsay, nor be guilty of repeating these words, “I heard this about so and so. Is it true?” Sharing what we’ve heard about people under the guise of a prayer request is gossip and those who do so are busybodies. Rather, heed and obey these verses, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29 “But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.” 1 Peter 4:15 When you are tempted to gossip, bite your tongue. ph
