• I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President-Elect Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support our future President in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures before Mr. Trump takes office. Read our Petition!

    • And soon a really big bunch of them are going to be thrown down here and most likely people will think they are the ET's that we are hearing about....
    • I don't know if the Bible says anything. But animal cruelty makes me cry. It also makes me very angry! I think it is the ideal of something unable to defend it self being hurt. As I also feel these same feelings towards children, the helpless, and the old. I don't go to circuses if they have animals especially elephants because I see it has being a sad life for such a beautiful animal to be living. I find nothing entertainment about it.  To me it is like watching sadness. One came to town here this past summer and I sent emails to the city hall letting them know how disappointed I was in them to allow such cruelty to be part of our town. I try to start a protest but couldn't find anyone to join me.  Anyway, I wont eat  veal because I think it is mean to eat a little baby moo cows.  I hope this does not seem like judging but I can't see a Christian being  deliberately cure to animals.  I'm not talking about eating them. I mean real cruelty.  Beating or starving an animal to death out of just not caring. That is what I mean. It is all so heartbreaking for me.
    • Shalom, tleichs. No, you were to get out of these verses that the days ARE the same! The reason why each section ends with "and the evening and the morning were the first day," etc., were because Jewish time keeping starts each new day at SUNDOWN ("evening") with the sighting of the first three stars. Our weekly holy day, the Shabbat, starts at sundown on Friday night and goes through Saturday at sundown. That's why you'll find some Jewish synagogues (including Messianic synagogues) hold their Shabbat service on Friday night while others will have their service on Saturday morning. The period known as "day" (as opposed to "night") STARTS with the sun overpowering the stars! "No nights in the first seven days"? Have you forgotten already? Genesis 1:5
5 And God called the light "Day," and the darkness he called "Night." And the evening and the morning were the first day.
KJV These days are the same 24-hour periods that we have today. There's no difference. I believe that God could create all the species of birds and fish in one 24-hour period. I also believe that God could create all the species of land animals and mankind in another 24-hour period. In fact, I believe it would be MORE unbelievable to think that God would wait around for millions of years to get something done! He didn't create this world like a kid watching a "Hatchimal" break out of its shell! "Will it break out this time around?" "Maybe the next time around...." No, God knew exactly what He would make; He DECLARED the end from the beginning!

The soldiers of Alexander were reckoned invincible. Why? Was it because they were naturally stronger and more courageous than all their enemies? No, but because they were led by Alexander. Their strength was in his leadership. Under another leader they would often have been defeated. When the Union army was fleeing panic- stricken before the enemy at Winchester, the presence of Sheridan turned their defeat into victory. Without him the men were a quaking mob. With him at their head they were an invincible army. If you had listened to the remarks after the battle of the soldiers who served under those and similar leaders, you would have heard the praises of their general mingled with all their rejoicing. They were strong because he was; they were inspired by the same spirit that he had. Well, our Captain is the Lord of hosts. He has met the chiefest foe of all and has vanquished him single-handed. Those who follow Him invariably go forth conquering and to conquer. Oh, that those who profess to be His followers would put their trust in Him and then, by the repeated victories that they would gain, they would show forth the praises of Him who has called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. John says that he that is born of God overcomes the world, through faith. Faith lays hold of the arm of God and His mighty power does the work. How the power of God can work in a man, accomplishing that which he could not possibly do for himself, no one can tell. It would be as easy to tell how God can give life to the dead Lessons on Faith.  E.J. Waggoner

      John 13:33-35
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

      1 John 4:7-11
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
