    • Is the general election rigged
lol no it doesnt mean anything. the judicial system, is seperate from the voting system, and it also depends on how much control there is. Knowing the legal system in and out, knowing how to suppress evidene and having a couple people people helping you out, combined with a spineless GOP may help you stay out of jail, but it doesnt mean that hillary has the umph to rig an entire election. Is it "possible" perhaps. but, improbable. The voting system is huge, with lots and lots of people-it would be highly unlikely to be able to control the entire thing. So improbable as to be preposterous. In fact, if it were rigged, there would be no need for the showdown were getting between hillary and Trump-at all. They can both just sit back and play nice, and whomever those in power wants to get in, will get in. Instead, you have them both fighting and manipulating, and trying to work the system, to get the most votes. There would be absolutly no need for this in a rigged system. The idea is preposterous.
    • A meditation of search with The Family
God did not know they would sin, so that's why He had to test them to see if they would obey and here's why. In Psalm 8:3 we read that man was to have dominion over "thy heavens, the work of they fingers, the moon, and the stars, which thou hast ordained . . . . For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET." Form these and other passages we learn that God's plan for man was that man should have dominion over everything. What a great responsibility! Man was fully capable of ruling over all things, for he had super - intelligence and was able to name everything in creation. He no doubt was to have access to the planets and rule them for God, but he sinned and "came short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23). In the final restitution of all things man will again have dominion and will help God administer the affairs of the universe(Rev. 1:5-6; 2:26-29; 3:21; 5:8-10; 22:4-5; 1 Cor. 6:2-3; 2 Tim. 2:12). That this future dominion does include more than the planet Earth is clear from Romans 8:17-18," "and if the children then heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ." Everything that God owns will become the inheritance of the saints, and they shall reign for ever and ever (Rev. 1:5-6; 2:27; 5:9-10; 22:4-5; Dan. 7:13-14; 18, 27). Man could not be given this great gift while in sin, and God would not give man this reign until He was sure man would not sin.
    • Which Bible Version can you recommend (KJV, NIV, NKJV, etc)
I can answer why someone should criticize the NIV for that.  People go into a Christian Book store looking for a Bible, and they don't understand those kind of differences as they are not explained on the cover.  They assume that what they are getting is a literal word for word translation.  They think modern English translations are basically the same as the KJV except they are easy to understand, and nothing could be further from the truth.  They are being deceived.
    • Prayer Request
Blessings Rick,,,,,      Since this Thread keeps popping up I thought I might drop in to tell you how very happy I am for you both,God always works all things for the good of those that love Him,,,,,& To GIVE HIM GLORY,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Praise the Lord,Bless you both, longevity & good health in Jesus Name!                                                With love-in Christ,Kwik
    • Which Bible Version can you recommend (KJV, NIV, NKJV, etc)
It has been proven that is a lie.  There is the verse that says you are being saved as opposed to saved.  There is the matter of the word fasting being left out of the modern English translations with regard to the need for fasting and prayer to cast out some devils.  Things have been left out that are not found in other places and the meaning of at least one very important scripture was altered.  I do have faith.  I have a Bible I fully trust as 100 percent reliable, not 97 to 98 percent correct.

Could you all pray for a family who's mother/wife/Grandma recently passed away. Jennie was a part of my church before she went to glory. Now, today there has been news that her eldest living son died of natural causes sometime Monday night or Sunday morning. In the past he said he was a Christian, but no fruit was ever seen in his life. His father is suffering from Alzheimer's, and is not a Christian. Please pray that his father and his family will see Jesus through all of this.
I'd also ask that you pray for me, as I'm going through a few of my own struggles as well right now.

He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be their peace.
