    • Nothing personal, but I did read the article don't care what the article states or what US archaeologist and Harvard University professor Lawrence E. Stager writes. I believe God's Word and it states that there were giants in the land. Genesis 6:4, There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Numbers 13:33, And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. That's good enough for me. And the bones they have found world wide also proves this.
    • Shalom, Marilyn. REASONS WHY THE NEW JERUSALEM WILL LAND UPON THE NEW EARTH: 4. One of the more potent reasons is found in verse 3: Revelation 21:3
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle (Greek: skeenee = a Bedouin's "tent") of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
KJV It's not recorded as "men will dwell with God," but rather "God will dwell with men." The words "will dwell" is the verb form of skeenee, "skeenoosei" from the general, first-person form... NT:4637 skeeno-oo (skay-no'-o); from NT:4636; to tent or encamp, i.e. (figuratively) to occupy (as a mansion) or (specifically) to reside (as God did in the Tabernacle of old, a symbol of protection and communion):
KJV - dwell. (Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International Bible Translators, Inc.) So, God is going to come down with men and put up His 1400-mile high "tent!" To be "with men" or "with human beings," He will bring down His tent to THEIR (OUR) level!
    • " And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books". My post was in reference to this. This tell me that those who are judged in the great white throne judgement will be judged according to what they have done on this earth. A little old grandma who was loving and kind and did many things for others but was not a believer in Jesus Christ will get a different punishment than Hitler.
    • Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. —James 1:22       Thoughts on Today's Verse... "The proof of the pudding is in the tasting." The proof of biblical wisdom and understanding is in the living. To simply know the truth doesn't mean a whole lot; to live the truth is everything. (cf. Matthew 7)   My Prayer... O LORD God, empower me with your Spirit as I seek to not only "practice what I preach," but also show my obedience to your will and live consistently with your character in my daily life. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.   *The Thoughts and Prayer on Today's Verse are written by Phil Ware.
    • Looking at the skull photos on the link I would say they had awful great dentistry back in those days. Today, in most third world countries they have lost half their teeth by the age of 25. Makes me wonder about the authenticity of the photos or skulls.

1 Peter 1:1-9 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.

Psalm 34:15-22 15 The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry. 16 The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 [The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. 20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
